Much of the Salton Sea Database GIS data was acquired from public sources such as the US Geological Survey (USGS), the Bureau of Reclamation (US BoR), and the State of California's GIS database. This data was then reprojected to project standards and clipped to the Salton study area. Please read the metadata for data source and processes.
