Using maps and descriptions of the known location of the breach on the Colorado River that caused the Salton sea to flood, a cut was located on th Colorado River and a 'path', outlined by the New and Alamo Rivers, was digitized to the Salton Sea. Line work was adjusted to DOQQ imagery where it could be determined that the path was wider than it is currently.
