EMDS Support

Hi,

I am following the watershed scale tutorial, using the sample data and keep getting the following error when I go to run the analysis.

"CreateStatsTable failed
Automataion error
Unspecified error"

Then

"Unable to create output tables
Unable to run analysis"

I have also tried to create a simple knowledge base, based on the Cohead Salmon example with crisp values (good spawning = gravel >= 1.5 and  <=3; silt >3 and < 7) and relating this to a shapefile I have with columns for silt and gravel. I  either get the same messages or it appears to run smoothly but no results are placed in the EMDS tab in ArcGIS. I am running ArcGIS, ArcView 9.2.

Any ideas?

Hi Andy.

Just offhand, it sounds as if you are running an older version of emds that is not fully compatible with ArcGIS 9.2. However, I will need a little more information in order to give you more definitive help:

1. Your operating system (win2k or winXP)?
2. The version of emds?

It is Win XP and EMDS version 3.1.1.0

EMDS 3.1.1 is most likely the problem. We are currently working on a new 4.0 version for ArcGIS 9.2. That may be available sometime in January. In the meantime, there is a 3.2 beta version for XP. Send me an email at kreynolds@fs.fed.us and I'll send you the URL to get it if you want.
