Hello,
The final stages of development have taken rather longer than
expected, but we are now very close to completing the final build.
Probably about two more weeks. The final version, with complete
online documentation, should be available on the emds website
(www.fs.orst.edu/emds) about 1 week later. CD and hardcopy manual
production will take a few additional weeks, in part because the
application needs agency review prior to going to CD production.
One bit of bad news for some people, perhaps. With all the additional
implementation effort, we have had to drop full support for GRID in
the 3.0 release. Hopefully, we will be able to get that into a 3.1
update in the not-too-distant future.
